Position Overview:

San Antonio Armature Works, a leader in Industrial Service Solutions, is seeking a Field Service Specialist to ensure the optimal performance of motors and generators while minimizing operational interruptions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose issues with DC Motors and Generators.
  • Repair and maintain AC&DC Motors and Generators.
  • Facilitate start-up procedures, troubleshoot, and enhance equipment efficiency.
  • Perform on-site start-up services and repairs for Drives, Starters & Controls.
  • Conduct bearing inspections and replacements.
  • Execute on-site stator rewinding.
  • Provide outage and turn-around assistance.
  • Conduct offline baker motor circuit evaluations.
  • Implement vibration analysis techniques.
  • Monitor vibration conditions effectively.
  • Balance rotating components in the field.
  • Perform laser alignment tasks.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Experience in AC&DC Motor and Generator repair is advantageous.
