We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Student Assistant to join our team at Angelo State University. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing engaging radio shows or podcasts that showcase their creativity and passion for storytelling.
Job DescriptionThis is an excellent opportunity for students who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of audio production, while also developing valuable skills such as teamwork, communication, and time management.
The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced team to create high-quality content that meets the expectations of our listeners. This will include researching and scripting show ideas, conducting interviews, and editing audio using multi-track software.
In addition to their creative responsibilities, the Student Assistant will also assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining office hours and supporting volunteers with radio shows.
Requirements- Must be a current enrolled student at Angelo State University
- Knowledge of audio editing software
- Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand 2-4 hrs at a time on occasion.
- Ability to work both indoors and occasionally outdoors.
- Ability to work with others.
$10.00 per hour, making this an attractive opportunity for students looking to supplement their income and gain valuable work experience.
