Job Description

We are looking for a skilled superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in construction, with a strong background in leading teams and managing projects from start to finish. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of negotiating trade and vendor pricing, determining site resources, and planning construction operations to meet project deadlines.

The superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Negotiating trade and vendor pricing to reach profitable agreements
  • Determining needed site resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to stay within project budget
  • Planning all construction operations and scheduling work on-site to ensure deadlines are met
  • Assisting in ordering materials and supplies, and scheduling deliveries on-site
  • Providing daily client updates, including project progress reports and photographs, and maintaining a daily log of on-site activities
  • Communicating with clients daily and being prepared to answer their questions
  • Awarding trade contracts and allocating responsibilities
  • Communicating quality and performance standards to trade contractors and vendors
  • Striving for no-defect, no-schedule-delay construction
  • Supervising work on-site and providing guidance as needed
  • Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards on the job site
  • Creating the Project Close Out binder
