As a Lead Registered Nurse, you will oversee a team of healthcare professionals, collaborating with Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, Social Workers, and Medical Assistants to deliver comprehensive care.
Work Environment:
Oscar Medical Group fosters a flexible work culture that promotes connectivity among team members, regardless of their work arrangements. This position is remote, and candidates must reside in specific states.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $88,000 - $115,500 annually, along with eligibility for benefits, vacation days, and performance bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to the nursing team in partnership with clinical leadership.
- Ensure the effective delivery of virtual nursing services, adhering to clinical protocols and best practices.
- Act as a clinical resource for nursing staff, offering expertise on complex cases and clinical decision-making.
- Review patient assessments and care plans to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary communication and coordinate patient care with various stakeholders.
- Drive operational efficiencies within the practice through cross-functional collaboration.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives, including clinical audits and outcome assessments.
- Comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Active RN license in designated states or compact license.
- Minimum of 4 years of outpatient or ambulatory nursing experience.
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in nursing.
- Experience in basic behavioral health interventions in primary care settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in virtual care settings.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
- Knowledge of project and program management principles.
- Understanding of Milliman Care Guidelines.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
