Job Title: IT Director

Job Summary:

Oscar Associates Limited is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead the successful implementation of Epicor ERP across a manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Epicor, and demonstrate a strong background in IT leadership, project management, and business process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for the Epicor ERP implementation, ensuring seamless integration with current systems and alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with department heads, stakeholders, and key users to assess business needs and ensure the ERP system meets organizational requirements.
• Manage and coordinate internal and external resources, including ERP consultants, vendors, and IT staff, to ensure successful implementation.
• Provide leadership in IT strategy, ensuring the ERP implementation aligns with broader business objectives and improves operational efficiency and decision-making.
• Train and mentor IT staff and end-users on Epicor ERP best practices and functionality, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.
• Monitor system performance and address any issues or challenges during and after implementation, ensuring minimal disruptions to business operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT leadership, with a focus on ERP implementations.
• Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle Epicor ERP implementation.
• Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
• Deep understanding of business processes, particularly in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and inventory management.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within the manufacturing or distribution industries.
• Certifications in Epicor ERP or related technologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and IT infrastructure management.
