As a Cloud Operations Specialist, you will work closely with diverse teams to enhance development processes, refine infrastructure, and deploy innovative solutions within a cloud-centric framework.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment using Helm, Kubernetes, and various tools within the GCP ecosystem.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform, ensuring a scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, applications, and development pipelines to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with development teams to gather requirements, propose DevOps solutions, and integrate best practices into the development lifecycle.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to maintain high availability, performance, and security of applications and infrastructure.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and software development to suggest enhancements and innovations.
- Document and improve DevOps processes, procedures, and configurations to promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform services and management tools.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using Python and/or Go (Golang).
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and deployment.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, with the ability to design and implement pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of troubleshooting complex issues across the entire stack.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, fostering a positive team culture.
- 5 years of DevOps experience on GCP.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using Python and/or Go (Golang).
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and deployment.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform.
