Job Summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a skilled Lactation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert guidance and support to new mothers and their babies to ensure successful breastfeeding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized lactation support and education to patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement breastfeeding plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Collaborate with the Breastfeeding Advisory Board to develop and revise patient education materials.
  • Identify and address lactation-related issues and concerns.
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up care to ensure successful breastfeeding outcomes.

Requirements
  • Current Michigan Nursing License.
  • International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
