Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Veterinary Technician to assist with medical procedures, administer vaccinations, and provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret medical histories and communicate relevant information to the Clinic Director
  • Safely restrain animals using fear-free and low-stress techniques
  • Accurately record medical information into the clinic software
  • Administer vaccinations, microchips, sedatives, and anesthetic drugs under the direction of the Clinic Director
  • Perform general anesthesia on canines, felines, and small mammals
  • Conduct dental exams, cleanings, radiographs, and extractions
  • Perform diagnostic services and interpret results
  • Recover patients from anesthesia
  • Provide post-operative care and counseling to clients
  • Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and surgical tools
  • Assist with training and support for Veterinary Assistants
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a veterinary setting
  • Flexibility to align your experience with a broad range of assignments
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
