Key Responsibilities:- Interpret medical histories and communicate relevant information to the Clinic Director
- Safely restrain animals using fear-free and low-stress techniques
- Accurately record medical information into the clinic software
- Administer vaccinations, microchips, sedatives, and anesthetic drugs under the direction of the Clinic Director
- Perform general anesthesia on canines, felines, and small mammals
- Conduct dental exams, cleanings, radiographs, and extractions
- Perform diagnostic services and interpret results
- Recover patients from anesthesia
- Provide post-operative care and counseling to clients
- Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and surgical tools
- Assist with training and support for Veterinary Assistants
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a veterinary setting
- Flexibility to align your experience with a broad range of assignments
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
