We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer PRN to join our team at Lone Peak Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, and intra-operative echocardiograms.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures in accordance with established clinical practice standards, hospital guidelines, and protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures, correlate patient history with ordered tests, and ensure equipment is clean and in proper working condition.
- Follow established surveillance, prevention, and control of infection policies and procedures to identify and reduce infection risks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including staff work areas, patient exam rooms, equipment, and supplies.
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) certification.
- Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Certificate in a related field.
