Job Title: Paramedic Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic Educator to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. As a Paramedic Educator, you will play a critical role in facilitating internal communication between field staff and management, outside agency interface, system status monitoring, and other operational support functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Training Programs: Make recommendations to the Clinical Education Manager to improve various aspects of the N.E.O.P. onboarding/training and QA/QI programs.
  • Communicate Company Protocols: Communicate company protocols, procedures, and standards of excellence through exemplary daily job performance, attitude, initiative, and demeanor.
  • Provide Exemplary Patient Care: Provide exemplary patient care and customer service.
  • Reinforce and Uphold Goals: Reinforce and uphold the goals and objectives of the new employee orientation program.
  • Identify and Remediate: Identify, evaluate, and/or remediate individuals who are not meeting and exceeding AMR performance standards.
  • Act as an Educational Resource: Act as an educational resource for field employees and management.
  • Facilitate Smooth Transitions: Facilitate the smooth transition for new-hire employees as well as continuing employees with expanding and/or changing job responsibilities.
  • Direct and Monitor: Direct, monitor, communicate with, and evaluate all field employees in their assigned area.
  • Liaison with Agencies: Liaison with patients, public safety agencies, training institutions, hospital personnel, and other system users.
  • Provide Staff Counseling: Provide staff counseling and guidance and information regarding AMR operations.
  • Perform Direct ALS Patient Care: Perform direct ALS patient care activities.
  • Maintain Communication: Maintain communication with other agencies and departments.
  • Serve on Committees: Serve on committees with other departments to set policies and generate ideas.
  • Prepare Reports and Manage Projects: Prepare reports and manage projects as assigned.
  • Support Education: Support education for AMR crews and fire partners.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • State Paramedic License: State Paramedic License.
  • State Driver's License: State Driver's License.
  • Two Years Field Experience: Two years field experience as a Paramedic.
  • Prior EMS Management Experience: Prior EMS management/mentoring/preceptor experience.
