Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and adapt to daily operations, interpret and execute provided instructions, and work reliably with professionalism in a medical office environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, and healthcare representatives to achieve healthcare goals.
  • React calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a school accepted for candidacy status from an accrediting body.
  • Current license to practice practical nursing in the State of Ohio.
  • Additional related previous experience may be required for various practices.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and EMR.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Maintains HIPAA confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel between locations as needed within the medical group.
  • Ability to obtain BLS within Summa Health.
  • Must pass yearly clinical skill competencies.
  • Required ability to handle bodily fluids and possible exposure to communicable disease.
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously to move objects. Ability to bend, stand, and walk for extended time.

The salary range for this position is $23.51/hr - $28.21/hr. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location, are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers.
