Position Overview
We are in search of a Senior Claims Adjuster to become a vital part of our team. In this capacity, you will be tasked with managing commercial claims, particularly those related to liability and property damage. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the insurance sector and exceptional interpersonal abilities to deliver outstanding customer service while adhering to internal protocols and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial claims while ensuring exceptional customer service
- Conduct investigations, evaluations, negotiations, and settlements of claims
- Oversee claims that involve litigation processes
- Analyze policies to ascertain coverage and liability
- Work autonomously on intricate claims
- Guide team members and collaborate with both internal and external partners
- Participate in trials, mediations, and depositions as required
- Prepare estimates and secure necessary releases
- Keep agents informed on the status of claims
- Physical presence at the workplace is mandatory
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in commercial claims and a valid 620 License
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in PC and relevant software applications
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of additional state licenses and fluency in a second language is advantageous
- Insurance-related certifications are a plus
