About the Role

We are looking for a Board-certified General Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general surgery, with expertise in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing surgical care to patients, including elective and acute care procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general surgery procedures, including robotic and minimally invasive surgery
  • Provide surgical care to patients, including elective and acute care procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in general surgery
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA General Surgery residency program
  • Board certification through the American Board of Surgery (ABS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS)
  • Obtain Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at Trinity Health hospitals
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
