About the Role

The iWaste Support Specialist plays a vital role in the efficiency and effectiveness of our customers' waste and recycling programs. This position is responsible for handling all notification cases generated from our waste monitoring systems, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling of compactor hauls, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Compactor Hauls
    • Interpret graph data and event logs in our monitoring system
    • Understand compactor function and operation
    • Utilize our internal portal to create and manage purchase orders and cases
    • Ensure accurate and timely communication with customers and haulers
  • Alerting Customer Service of Site Issues
    • Investigate and resolve open repair issues or stop service tasks using our internal systems
    • Recognize when customer care is needed and take proactive steps to address concerns
    • Understand the process for creating stop service tasks
  • Flagging Devices Needing Technical Assistance
    • Develop a deeper understanding of pressure data and monitor functions
    • Utilize our internal portal to find pertinent information and navigate menus
    • Effectively communicate technical issues to analysts and provide clear explanations
  • Data Entry and Administration
    • Correct and enter data in our internal systems
    • Update device information in our monitoring system
    • Utilize Excel to create and edit worksheets
    • Access and navigate our internal SharePoint site
Requirements
  • College degree preferred and/or 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize work activities
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt easily to change and work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
