Position Title
Industrial Engineer
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage on-site to eliminate costs through process enhancements and established standard operating procedures.
- Design, modify, or optimize workspaces and layouts with a focus on ergonomics and waste reduction.
- Stay informed about best practices in manufacturing techniques, as well as trends and advancements in technology and equipment.
- Collaborate with our Lean Team to enhance process efficiency.
- Develop and maintain management information, planning, and control systems.
- Implement strategies and adjustments to lower production expenses.
- Conduct time studies to balance the manufacturing workflow.
- Adopt a PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) approach for our operations.
- Work across departments to address issues related to process outcomes.
- Formulate, implement, and disseminate best practices.
- Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies, such as DMAIC, A3, 5-Why, etc.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
