You will be actively engaged in our Daycare and Boarding operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of our furry guests.

A Typical Day:
As a Pet Pro, you will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on providing exceptional care for our guests. Your responsibilities will vary throughout your shifts, including walking dogs, providing potty breaks, feeding, administering medications, cleaning accommodations, and engaging in playtime. One day you may help overnight guests feel at home, while the next day you could oversee daycare playgroups, ensuring harmonious interactions among pets. You will also provide special attention to pets in need, while managing the day-to-day cleanliness of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Treat every guest with respect and dignity.
  • Ensure proper feeding and hydration, and maintain cleanliness of food and water bowls.
  • Regularly clean up after pets, including feces and urine.
  • Walk dogs on leash to designated exercise areas.
  • Engage in various play activities with pets, such as fetch and basic obedience games.
  • Supervise multiple dogs during playtime, monitoring for any conflicts.
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment by adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Document pet health by tracking eating and elimination habits.
  • Monitor pet behavior during playtime and interactions.
  • Follow safety protocols for handling pets, especially those with special needs.
  • Alert management of any health concerns or unusual behaviors in pets.
  • Operate laundry facilities to clean pet items and ensure they are returned to the correct pet.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the facility, including common areas and exercise yards.
  • Assist in property maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Notify management of low inventory levels for pet supplies and cleaning products.
  • Contribute to maintaining a tidy property by disposing of trash and debris.
  • Stay informed about important updates and collaborate with other departments.

Qualifications:

  • A strong passion for animal care, particularly for dogs and cats.
  • A commitment to safe and gentle handling of pets.
  • The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
