Job Description

The Space Systems Analysis and Test Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled professional to conduct system studies and develop analysis tools to simulate the ability of radar and optical sensors to detect and track satellites. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in math, physics, or engineering, providing a solid underpinning for broad analysis and simulations capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct system studies and develop analysis tools to simulate the ability of radar and optical sensors to detect and track satellites
  • Build space-related hardware and conduct experiments to collect data in support of system analysis studies
  • Develop and present technical materials, including scientific writing and presentations to a wide range of audiences
Requirements
  • MS in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • In lieu of a MS, will consider BS with 3-5 years of work experience
Desired Skills
  • Demonstrated competence in scientific writing and/or development and presentation of technical materials
  • Ability to clearly present concepts to a wide spectrum of audiences
