Recreational Therapy Specialist

In light of our ongoing expansion, we are in search of a Full-Time Recreational Therapy Specialist to design and deliver therapeutic activity programs for individuals and groups aimed at enhancing their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual health. The Recreational Therapy Specialist will also conduct leisure and recreational assessments as required, collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams to integrate these services and enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Preferred certification in Recreation Therapy (Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation with two years of experience) or Art Therapy (Master's degree in Art Therapy with 1,000 hours of post-graduate clinical experience).
- At least one year of experience in a therapeutic recreation program serving adults and adolescents with psychiatric and/or substance use challenges.
- A diverse skill set to engage and instruct patients in leisure activities and empower them in their environments.
