Job Title: SWPPP Inspector

CanACRE Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled SWPPP Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our environmental compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project-specific Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) under the Clean Water Act, as well as compliance with erosion control regulations and applicable environmental regulations and permits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify potential environmental hazards and ensure compliance with SWPPP and other relevant regulations.
  • Document all inspection findings and communicate them to the Compliance Management Team.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans and mitigation measures for any identified environmental issues or hazards.
  • Provide technical guidance to the project team regarding SWPPP and other environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and submit environmental related permits, when required.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Environmental Science or related field of study.
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience in SWPPP inspection and compliance.
  • Experience leading field work, and coordinating with various field teams.
  • Professional experience working on projects regulated under NEPA or state-equivalent.
