Kitchen Manager Job Duties:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and timely service.
  • Directly supervise kitchen employees, promoting a positive work environment and adherence to company policies.
  • Responsible for managing operating costs, minimizing waste, and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and training efforts for kitchen staff.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a full-service restaurant is essential. You must possess knowledge of food safety regulations, Serve Safe certification, and excellent culinary skills. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities are also required. Experience managing payroll, schedules, and inventory is necessary.
