Project Controls Specialist

WSP USA is seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our Transportation and Infrastructure team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on major infrastructure programs and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and consultation for project control functions, including scheduling, estimating, cost control, document control, and project management information systems.
  • Apply advanced project controls techniques to maintain scope, schedule, and cost controls across large programs.
  • Mentor, direct, and oversee the work of earlier career staff.
  • Support project managers and project controls managers in planning, scheduling, cost/budget control, change management, and scope/change control.
  • Resolve issues and provide consistency between scheduling, cost control, and scope/change control functions and deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience working on major infrastructure programs.
  • Project Management, schedule, or cost management certification through PMI or AACEi.
  • Knowledge of and experience in schedule preparation, schedule integration, and schedule critical path.
  • Knowledge of cost management systems and practices.
  • Experience in scope/change management and claims mitigation and forensic analysis.
