Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting and HR Manager to join our team at Concierge Medicine of Columbus, Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the accounting and human resources functions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage account payables and receivables, reconciling monthly and quarterly accounts
  2. Process bi-monthly or monthly payroll payments using payroll software, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees
  3. Work with benefits carriers to administer benefits to eligible employees, negotiating rates with providers
  4. Maintain and update personnel records regularly, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  5. Prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets and cash flows, for senior management review
  6. Serve as primary point of contact for staff inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures
  7. Help define HR guidelines and ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws
  8. Complete administrative tasks, including processing payroll, managing employee records, and organizing workshops
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, or similar roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Management, or related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of applicable accounting standards and practices
  • Experience using ADP Software or other payroll software preferred
  • Expertise in Quickbooks and other accounting software
  • Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of employment laws and best HR practices
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Attention to detail, great organizational skills, and ability to multitask
  • Certifications in human resources management (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) preferred

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience.
