Job Summary:

The Multisystemic Therapist will work closely with parents and caregivers to leverage change by working in families' homes and in the community. This position provides in-home services for Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prevent out-of-home placement/incarceration
  • Break the cycle of system involvement
  • Empower families to create lasting change
  • Engage primary caregivers and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment
  • Identify and overcome barriers
  • Conduct therapy in the community, in families' homes
  • Use behavioral, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing techniques
  • Maintain a small, intensive caseload of 4-6 families
  • Meet weekly for group supervision and expert consultation

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
  • DORA registration to provide therapy (LPCC, MFTC, SWC)
