Job Title: Datacenter Infrastructure Specialist

Apex Systems is currently seeking an experienced Datacenter Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

As a Datacenter Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware infrastructure issues in a fast-paced data center environment. You will work autonomously to resolve most support issues, creating and maintaining documentation on technologies you support, and passing down knowledge to junior staff.

This role requires basic to intermediate system administration skills, with the ability to take on remote system administration tasks as part of a virtual team. You will also have the opportunity to automate tasks with scripts when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware infrastructure issues in a timely manner
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation on technologies supported
  • Pass down knowledge to junior staff, ensuring seamless handovers
  • Take on remote system administration tasks as part of a virtual team
  • Automate tasks with scripts where possible
Requirements
