We are seeking a Support Services Professional to join our team at Sevita. In this role, you will provide critical support services to individuals with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries, illnesses, or other challenges. About the Job Description

This job description highlights the key responsibilities and requirements for the position. You will be responsible for providing training, assistance, and supervision to individuals receiving care in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance. Additionally, you will assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide training and assistance to individuals in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other areas of support
  2. Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration
  3. Facilitate working relationships between employers and individuals served
  4. Support community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work or other activities
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Six months to one year of experience in the human services field
  • Valid Driver's License from state of residence
  • Must be minimum of 18 years of age
  • Successful clearance of background checks
  • A caring attitude with a dedication to assisting others
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication skills
