Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY
  • Maintain cleanliness of public and staff restrooms and showers
  • Ensure glass surfaces in communal and employee areas are spotless
  • Utilize designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment to clean floor surfaces in public or employee spaces
  • Dust and sanitize surfaces within assigned areas
  • Dispose of waste from trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public spaces into appropriate receptacles
  • Assess furniture condition for any damages such as tears, rips, or stains and report any issues
  • Clean and upkeep lighting fixtures
  • Post caution signs to manage traffic flow when necessary
  • Coordinate with other departments for necessary repairs
  • Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns in public areas or guest accommodations

Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and ensure proper storage of flammable materials.

Maintain a clean and professional appearance in uniform; safeguard the confidentiality of proprietary information.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests with genuine appreciation.

Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Collaborate with the team to achieve common objectives. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.

Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing 55 pounds or less without assistance, and over 55 pounds with assistance.

Capability to push and pull work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Climb up and down a ladder. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

Related Work Experience:
No prior work experience necessary.

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification:
None required.
