Center Director RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Center Director to lead our child care center in Chelsea, Michigan. As a Center Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the center, including staff management, curriculum development, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire, engage, and develop a team of educators to provide high-quality care and education to children
- Partner with parents to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for children to thrive
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, and community partners to promote the center's mission and values
- Use business and marketing skills to grow the center's presence in the community and attract new families
- At least one year of leadership experience in early childhood education or a related field
- Strong customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively
- Budget and financial accountability, with experience in revenue generation preferred
- Knowledge of NAEYC/NAC and state licensing requirements preferred
- Ability to lift 40 pounds, work indoors or outdoors, and assume postures to allow physical and visual contact with children
