Job Description

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Director of Case Management. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the activities of the Case Management Program for North Shore Medical Center.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in case management, with a minimum of 7 years of acute clinical experience and a Master's Degree in Nursing. They will be responsible for developing and supervising staff, evaluating and maintaining case management skills and outcomes, and ensuring adherence to key model components that drive outcomes.

The Director of Case Management will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assure quality, timely, and cost-efficient care. They will be responsible for communicating and conveying complex information in a professional and courteous manner, and will have strong analytical abilities to strategically plan, consensus build, and problem solve.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical and financial outcomes, and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with performance agility in a continuously changing environment. They will also have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of personalities, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and supervise staff
  • Evaluate and maintain case management skills and outcomes
  • Ensure adherence to key model components that drive outcomes
  • Communicate and convey complex information in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assure quality, timely, and cost-efficient care

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years acute clinical experience
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Current License as Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive management experience with demonstrated goal-oriented outcomes
  • Demonstrated leadership and change management experience
  • Case Management experience
