Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain floors, walls, and other surfaces in assigned areas
- Empty trash and recyclables, and restock supplies
- Set up and arrange furniture and equipment in classrooms, meeting rooms, and other public areas
- Perform emergency clean-ups and respond to spills and other incidents
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6 months of experience in custodial services or a related field preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Knowledge of custodial services practices, techniques, and procedures
