About the Role

Georgia Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian I to join our facilities team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning services to our campus facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine housekeeping services, including emptying trash receptacles, dusting, spot cleaning, and disinfecting restrooms and other areas.
  • Operate and maintain power equipment, such as carpet vacuums and spot cleaning machines.
  • Maintain housekeeping/storage closets, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Utilize prescribed safety equipment and chemicals in a safe and prescribed manner.
  • Respond to work requests from building occupants and the department's service request system.
Requirements

One year of job-related experience and an equivalent combination of education and experience are required. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
