Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Specialty Center team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care to children and families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children and families, assessing and addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with our education team to provide educational programs and resources to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Florida.
  • One year of experience in pediatric nursing, preferably in a specialty center or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a busy clinical setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.

Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, and maintain a high level of productivity in a busy clinical setting.
