The Estée Lauder Companies is on the lookout for a visionary and innovative social media expert to spearhead the strategy and implementation of the corporate social media platforms.

As an integral part of the Global Communications team, the Senior Manager, Social Media will craft a forward-thinking social media plan that ensures the company's channels showcase pertinent announcements and resonate with its fundamental narratives and values.

This position is accountable for conceptualizing and producing captivating content across various platforms, collaborating closely with internal partners to effectively boost brand presence, highlight the contributions of ELC's executives and staff, and cultivate significant relationships with key demographics.

The role will supervise the Coordinator, Global Communications, who manages community engagement across all platforms, including content publication, timely audience communication, and addressing issues and risks.

Success in this role requires a robust grasp of digital trends and cultural insights, exceptional teamwork abilities, and a talent for compelling storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

· Formulate and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with the company's core messages and business objectives.

· Develop and oversee a global content calendar, working in tandem with cross-functional teams to synchronize social media initiatives with relevant campaigns, announcements, and product launches. Manage all published content on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.

· Generate innovative, high-quality content concepts (including text, visuals, and videos) that resonate with target audiences across various channels.

· Keep abreast of social media trends, tools, and analytics to uncover opportunities for innovation and growth, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of industry developments.

· Direct community management strategies to enhance engagement with key audiences and broaden reach.

· Evaluate performance metrics and KPIs to assess the success of campaigns and refine content strategies.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.

· 7-9 years of experience in social media management, demonstrating a successful track record of executing impactful campaigns across diverse platforms.

· Profound knowledge of social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), their distinct features, and best practices for content optimization.

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging narratives and adjust tone to suit various audiences and channels.

· Strong analytical capabilities and experience utilizing social media analytics tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, Opal, Sprinklr) to interpret data and inform data-driven decisions.

· Proven leadership skills, with the capacity to manage and motivate a team, encourage collaboration, and mentor emerging talent.

· Ability to excel in a dynamic environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

· An entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for innovation in digital and social media.

· Experience in a globally matrixed multi-brand organization is preferred.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $99,400 to $163,800. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
