Job Summary

AB Staffing is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Assess Students: Evaluate students' communication needs and develop tailored solutions for academic success.
  • Provide Therapy Services: Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based materials and provide regular progress reports.
  • Collaborate with Educators: Work with teachers and support staff to implement therapy plans and promote student learning.
  • Supervise and Consult: Supervise support staff and consult with educators to ensure effective communication and learning strategies.
  • Develop and Implement Programs: Create engaging learning environments and develop programs to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program. National and state certifications, including ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate.
  • Experience and Skills: Proven experience in speech and language therapy, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse student populations.
  • Additional Requirements: BLS certification, pre-employment credentialing clearances, and a positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
