We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team at Carondelet St. Marys Hospital. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and preferences.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, communicating effectively with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care or home.
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification and others as required by individual department.
- Minimum of One (1) year of Endoscopy experience as an RN.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department.
