About the Role
Grifols is seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Medical Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our donors and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability
- Build strong relationships with donors to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of donor and staff information
- Provide education and counseling to donors on general health and wellness, as well as unacceptable test results
- Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events
- Assist in employee training and development
- Administer employee health programs, including the Hepatitis Vaccine program
Requirements
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Medical Specialist who is educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or Emergency Medical Technician. Current CPR certification is also required.
