Head Tennis Coach Job Description

Join Neilson Active Holidays as a Head Tennis Coach and lead our tennis programme to deliver exceptional coaching experiences to guests of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead the tennis team to deliver outstanding coaching services.
  • Develop and implement experience-based sessions for adults and children.
  • Organize and operate a comprehensive tennis programme, including group coaching, free play, social tennis, tournaments, and private lessons.
  • Promote the tennis programme to increase participation and engagement.
  • Ensure tennis equipment is well-maintained and stocked.
  • Train new coaches to deliver the Neilson tennis programme.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety.
  • Provide expert advice on equipment usage.
  • Take responsibility for equipment maintenance and security.
  • Ensure tennis areas meet guest expectations.
  • Organize social events and briefings.
  • Be flexible and assist with duties as required.
  • Deliver excellent airport transfers.

Requirements:

  • RPT Level 2, LTA Level 2 or equivalent.
  • RPT Level 3, LTA Level 3 - highly beneficial.
  • Level 1 or above Pickleball qualification - highly beneficial.
  • Confident and experienced coaching adults and children of all abilities.
  • Understanding of current tennis developments.
  • Detailed knowledge of the British playing system.
  • Expertise in tennis equipment and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and inspire.
  • Flexible to work required hours.
  • Deliver fun, engaging, safe, and informative tuition.
  • Confident conversation and instruction in English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
