Tennis Coach Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tennis Coach to join our team at Neilson Active Holidays. As a Tennis Coach, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional tennis coaching to guests of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding tennis coaching sessions to guests
  • Prepare and lead experience-based sessions for adults and children
  • Organize and operate a comprehensive tennis program, including group coaching, free play, social tennis, and private lessons
  • Actively promote the tennis program to increase participation
  • Ensure tennis equipment is well-maintained and stocked
  • Assist with training new or peak season coaches
  • Ensure the highest standard of health and safety is maintained
  • Provide expert advice on the safe use of tennis equipment
  • Maintain the appearance of tennis areas to meet guest expectations
  • Organize and host social events and briefings
  • Be flexible and willing to assist in all duties as requested

Requirements:

  • RPT Level 2, LTA Level 2 or Equivalent qualification
  • Level 1 or above Pickleball qualification (highly beneficial)
  • Experience coaching adults and children of all abilities
  • Understanding of current tennis developments
  • Detailed knowledge of the British playing system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to deliver fun, engaging, safe, and informative tuition
  • Confident communication in English
