Procurement Strategist

Wellpath is seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Procurement to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a procurement strategy that aligns with our company goals, focusing on cost reduction, supply chain optimization, and quality improvement.

• Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with company goals
• Lead supplier relationship management, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and risk mitigation
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and contract renegotiation
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, service level agreements, and healthcare industry regulations
• Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance procurement processes, improve decision-making, and implement risk management practices

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the healthcare industry
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, strategies, and best practices
• Proven track record of leading successful procurement initiatives, achieving cost savings, and improving operational efficiency
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
