Salary: $17 - $21 / hour

Job Responsibilities:
As a Dental Assistant, you will support the clinical needs of patients and doctors. You will have the support and training needed to maximize your career potential and make a difference in your community. Some of your key responsibilities include:

* Assisting during various treatment procedures
* Taking dental x-rays
* Setting up and breaking down operatory post-treatment
* Executing patient handoffs and monitoring patient flow within the practice
* Managing infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
* Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
* Completing denture soft relines and manufacturing temporary crowns
* Performing quality impressions and bite registrations
* Supporting patient charting for doctors
* Collaborating with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds. A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development is also essential. You should be able to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with an active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required.
