Oversee the continuous enhancement and upkeep of the clinical preceptor network for all students in the clinical phase.

Collaborate with the Program Director and Didactic Education Director to formulate and implement integrated goals and learning objectives throughout the curriculum, ensuring a coherent system of progressive learning and assessment.

Manage the operational activities conducted by the Clinical Coordinator to arrange students' Supervised Clinical Practice Experiences (SCPEs).

Partner with the Program Director and Didactic Education Director to devise a strategy for designing, executing, and sustaining curricular mapping for the clinical phase of the Physician Assistant program.

Establish and execute processes and content for preceptor development, onboarding, evaluation, and training initiatives.

Act as a liaison to faculty at the Creighton University Medical School and other clinical partners regarding clinical training issues.

Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the didactic curriculum and assessment plan for the clinical phase of the program.

Serve as course director or co-director as assigned.

Deliver classroom instruction and facilitate small group discussions in the PA program in areas of expertise.

Chair the Clinical Education Committee.

Engage in student assessment and evaluation activities.

Provide academic advising to students.

Contribute to the evaluation of applications, conduct interviews, and assist in the selection of incoming students.

Participate in ongoing program evaluation and accreditation activities.

Conduct site visits and coordinate visits to clinical preceptors by faculty members.

Engage in scholarly activities related to research interests.

Serve on committees and participate in activities at Creighton University and the School of Medicine as needed.

Qualifications:

  • PA-C, Master's degree;
  • State Licensure (or license-eligible);
  • 3-5 years of experience in Physician Assistant education.
