Job Title: RN-Charge - Emergency Services (days)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Charge Nurse in the Emergency Department at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital.

About the Role:

  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Work as the primary RN in the Emergency Department, taking on charge nurse responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
  • Facilitate a positive patient experience by evaluating the effectiveness of patient care and identifying any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with various audiences using the most appropriate method for the situation.
  • Contribute to the fullest potential of achieving hospital-wide goals and model those behaviors and support team efforts 100%.

Requirements:

  • Current Nevada RN license required.
  • A minimum of 2 (two) years critical care experience preferred, previous ER experience required.
  • American Heart Association Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
