Job Title: Consulting Engineer

Ampcus Inc. is a leading provider of technology and business consulting services. We are seeking a highly skilled candidate to join our team as a Consulting Engineer.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual to work with our established RF design group to increase designs for all RF nodes in our network. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing oDAS to small cell conversion design and modifications of existing oDAS designs with multiple vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement RF systems for oDAS and small cell networks
  • Perform site selection and review for new locations
  • Configure oDAS sites in Atoll
  • Develop and maintain plumbing diagrams and E911/Regulatory records
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Requirements:
  • Experience with oDAS technology and architecture for vendors such as CROWN/ATC/EXTENET
  • Proficient in configuring oDAS sites in Atoll
  • RF Design Experience with Samsung equipment
  • Knowledge of RF theory and practice, as well as LTE/VoLTE/5G (C-band/mmWV) technology
  • Antenna knowledge experience selecting the right antenna on 4G/5G technology
  • Knowledge of propagation modeling software as Atoll
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of LTE network KPIs and key parameters
  • Experience designing 5G/4G Small cells, mmWV
  • Proficiency in Atoll, Visio, Mapinfo, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and FUZE/SPM/CANVAS
Education/Certifications:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 3-5 years of experience preferred
