Job Summary

The Home Health Aide is a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, working under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide personalized care and support to patients in their homes. This role requires a high level of compassion, empathy, and communication skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support services according to a written plan of care.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse.
  • Assist patients with mobility and transfer to and from bed, chair, or wheelchair.
  • Perform basic infection control procedures, including hand washing and cleaning patient supplies and equipment.
  • Document patient care and observations in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • CNA certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • 1 year of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • Valid driver's license with a vehicle in good working order.
