Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Home Health team in Rockville, Maryland. As a Physical Therapist with Adventist HealthCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial examinations and evaluations to establish treatment plans for patients with rehabilitation needs in acute care, outpatient, or inpatient settings.
  • Provide therapy interventions consistent with treatment plans, involving patients and their families in the planning and implementation process.
  • Re-evaluate patients as necessary to assess progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
  • Plan for patient discharge, taking into consideration achievement of goals and expected outcomes.
  • Communicate and coordinate patient management with members of the care team, including supervising and directing patient care activities of assigned rehab aides and office assistants.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • 1 year of site-specific experience preferred.
  • Active Maryland License.
  • Valid driver's license with agency insurance requirements.
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Environment

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. Home Health Highlights include CHAP accreditation, high-star rating, flexible schedules, one-on-one patient care, tuition and CEU reimbursement, and incentive bonuses.
