Position Summary:
The Treasury Manager will oversee the valuation practices related to our direct CLIENT Balance Sheet Fair Value, which encompasses a substantial portfolio including debt and derivatives valued at approximately $150 Billion, finance receivables around $60 Billion, and an investment portfolio of $5 Billion. This role is crucial for ensuring governance, process controls, and effective financial disclosures regarding counterparty credit risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Governance and Compliance (40%):
    Evaluate business and regulatory changes that may influence valuation processes. Ensure the governance of valuation policies, procedures, and SOX controls, including the review of financial disclosures.
  2. Valuation Management (35%):
    Lead the valuation processes for debt and derivatives utilizing advanced tools such as WSS, Numerix, and Bloomberg. Manage counterparty credit risk and collateral agreements.
  3. Asset Valuation Oversight:
    Supervise the valuation processes for finance receivables and various asset categories, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Qualifications:
Experience:
  • 6-8+ years in financial services, with a focus on Audit, Financial Consulting, or Risk Management.
  • Proven ability to manage governance frameworks and internal controls effectively.
  • Familiarity with financial products and valuation standards.
  • Experience with complex financial instruments and valuation models.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with stakeholders.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA preferred; CFA or similar designation is a plus.
  • Advanced degrees (MBA, M.S. in Finance or Accounting) are advantageous.
Special Skills:
  • Expertise in valuing structured debt and derivatives.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with market data providers.
