About Our Location:

As a Production Operator at the Elk Grove Village team, you'll take pride in seeing your family and friends enjoying products you helped create. Your dedication and commitment will bring smiles to homes across America. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to become a well-rounded operator, learning multiple jobs and witnessing the transformation of a product from individual ingredients to finished products.

We're seeking Production Operators for 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, with hours from 1pm to 11:30pm. Availability to work overtime on Friday or Saturday is also required.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Mixing: Read and follow manufacturing order instructions to gather, measure, weigh, and document the required ingredients. Load ingredients into a mixer, blend according to specifications, and unload the mixer to transfer the mixed batch to the next process.
  • Extrusion: Process mixing batches through extrusion equipment to produce the final product. Use product controls to conduct sensory checks to ensure the final product meets customer specifications throughout the extrusion process.
  • Polishing: Manage and transfer finished products from extrusion and drying processes. Apply the finishing touch to finished products using our panning process, which involves loading finished products from drums, carts, or trays into polishing pans and adding liquid ingredients by hand or automation.
  • Catching: Manage the transfer of finished products from extrusion processes using drums, carts, or trays to the next process.
  • Adhere to human safety, food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and product quality as the highest priorities and essential functions.
  • Attendance is an essential responsibility.
