Position Overview

The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of designated areas within the facility.

Compensation:
$17.48 per hour (9:00 PM-5:30 AM, Sunday through Friday and Saturdays 8 PM-4:30 AM)

Essential Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must fulfill all requirements to gain approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including a ten-year work history if available
  • No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training will be provided
  • No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in customer service
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and clean buildings and facilities
  • Adhere to procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
  • Inform the Manager about the need for minor or major repairs or enhancements to building operating systems
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures set by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
  • Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, either manually or using hand trucks
  • Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and tools
  • Wash and replace blinds as necessary
  • Collect and dispose of trash
  • Perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, and removing snow
  • Wipe and clean surfaces in food areas
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms
