Primary Care Physician

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team in Imperial, California. As a Correctional Medicine Specialist, you will provide high-quality medical services to patients in a correctional facility setting.
Responsibilities- Deliver medical services within the scope of practice for Physician services, adhering to facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide high-quality services, consistent and in alignment with established and widely accepted standards and principles of medical practice.
- Obtain prior written authorization from the facility CEO/CME or designee for non-emergency services, consultations, or diagnostic procedures.
- Transport patients to other facilities only with prior written authorization from the facility CEO/CME or designee.
- Perform or administer only those medical services that are recognized as being in accordance with generally accepted professional medical standards and deemed safe and effective for treating the relevant illness, injury, or condition.
- Active California Physician license.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in primary care (adult) as a Physician within the last three years.
- Specialty Services: In addition to the above requirements, Physicians who are requested to work in specialized areas such as Emergency Medicine, Surgery, etc., must also have at least two years (2) years of experience within the last 3 years providing patient care within that setting and possess any required certificates.
- Obstetrics/Gynecology: Physicians who will be staffed at female institutions/facilities must possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last five (5) years providing obstetric and gynecological nursing or patient care services in a healthcare setting.
- Clinical competencies must be up-to-date and validated for the specific area in which the Physician will be assigned.
The Physician will work in a correctional facility setting, providing medical services to patients. The working conditions will be in accordance with the facility's rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
