Physician and Surgeon

California Correctional Health Care Services is seeking a highly skilled Physician and Surgeon to join our team in a correctional facility setting. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of our healthcare programs.

• Provide medical assessments and treatment to patients in a correctional facility setting
• Collaborate with mid-level providers and other staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Develop and implement medical protocols and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and healthcare services
• Contribute to the development and implementation of healthcare programs and services

• Possession of a valid medical license in the state of California
• Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine
• Experience working in a correctional facility or similar setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
