About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily living skills, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Support individuals in developing and maintaining daily routines and schedules
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to learn and grow
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Active driver's license is required
  • High School diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or Special Education preferred
  • Previous experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities preferred
  • Must be available to complete 2 weeks, paid, orientation Monday - Friday from 8AM - 4PM
  • Must be MAPS certified, or able to obtain certification with 90 days of employment
